Anabata, an event organizer specializing in architecture and design, proudly presents Anabata Live Series #3 following the success of its previous events. Themed “Design Process,” this event take place on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the Titan Theater, Titan Center, Bintaro, Jakarta, Indonesia.

The design process plays a crucial role in creating impactful architecture that benefits its users. Every architect follows a unique journey and approach when handling projects. Anabata Live Series #3 will feature two distinguished international architects: Lyndon Neri of Neri & Hu Design and Research Office, which operates in Shanghai and London, and Makoto Tanijiri of Suppose Design Office, based in Hiroshima and Tokyo. The discussion will be moderated by Andrew Tirta, an experienced architectural practitioner from Indonesia.

During the event, the speakers will delve into the specific design processes they use in their projects. As a co-founder of Neri & Hu Design and Research Office, Lyndon Neri emphasizes research as a core tool in his designs, resulting in projects with profound and contextually sensitive meanings. On the other hand, Makoto Tanijiri, founder of Suppose Design Office, stands out as one of Japan’s most prolific medium-sized architecture firms.
